Carpentry (Floor Coverer)
Carpenters Training Institute
Preparation and installation of floors, flash coving, seam seal/welding, treads, and wall covering, including PVC materials. Wood/Composite Floor Systems preparation and installation. Carpet preparation, padding and installation of carpeting including cutting, matching, sewing, & stairs for both stretch and glue down. Tile preparation of asphalt, vinyl composition, carpet and wood parquet. Rubber preparation and installation of floors, treads and base. Metals cutting and installation. PROGRAM LENGTH: 48 Months. OJT WAGE: $21.27 starting, with gradual increases to $35.45. Number of Enrolled Apprentices: 14. Number of Apprentices who have graduated: 48. Graduation Rate: 55%. REQUIREMENTS: Math Qualification Test or score of 15 on the math portion of ACT, Valid Drivers License or proof of reliable transportation, High School Diploma, GED, or HSED. Show More
